Pricing and Payment Methods

If you have a Paypal account, transfer money directly to the account of

4. Money can be transferred by wire transfer to my US or Canadian bank account. Ask for details on my account. |
5. You can also pay with a credit card. Click on the appropriate logo on this page, and
you will be taken to a secure page. Then if you don't have a PayPal
account, choose "Pay with a debit or credit card. I don't have a PayPal account," and a new secure
page will come up asking for credit-card information.
If you are in the US, your options are to pay with Visa, MasterCard, Discover, or American Express. Currency
conversions are performed automatically. The name on my PayPal account which can accept credit cards is
"madelon@ptialaska.net".
Payment for Editing and Literature Searches |

Editing and literature searches of technical materials is $40.20/hour ($0.67 per minute). To
pay with PayPal or credit card, click on the logo directly below, and you will be
taken to the appropriate secure payment page. For the question "Quantity" enter the
number of minutes of editing. (Example, 2 hours and 10 minutes of
editing would be 130.) |

Payment for Japanese Literature Searches |

Literature searches are $40.20/hour.
To pay with a credit card, click on the logo directly below, and you will be
taken to the appropriate payment page. After entering the number of minutes for
"Quantity" click on "Update,"

Payment for a TranslationBefore
a translation is begun you will be given the price per English word and an
estimate of the number of English words. When the translation is
completed, you will receive the translation and invoice by e-mail. The
invoice will have the final word count (as given by Microsoft Word). You
can pay by any of the methods listed above. If you choose to pay by
PayPal or credit card, click on the logo for the appropriate
price-per-word. This will bring up a PayPal payment page. For "quantity"
enter the number of English words as shown on the invoice. |

Japanese translating.
Price per word depends on the level of difficulty. Prices are in US dollars (cents). Firm prices can be determined before a translation is
begun. The minimum price for a project is $15.00. |
